Abstract
Methods of measurement for objectively analyzing the effects of bit reduction 45-Mb NTSC video codecs are discussed. A discussion is presented of dynamic frequency response, dynamic short-time distortion, dynamic luminance nonlinearity, and dynamic 2T response. The effects of the coding algorithm on dynamic resolution are assessed
