Abstract
Develops a parameter-space PID controller design method for limit-cycle controllers. The technique allows direct consideration of the limit-cycle amplitude and frequency as well as disturbance rejection in the controller parameter space. The results allow design for robustness to gain and phase plant variations and show a considerably improved performance over current PI implementation and tuning methods
