Abstract
Magnetic coupling occurs when magnetic field lines of an electric circuit are closing into another electric circuit. This can be an undesired effect that affects both circuits. The coupling element is mutual inductance. This paper aims to analyze the effects of inductive coupling. Coupling capacity or mutual inductance will be determined by solving the electromagnetic field issue and the effects of the inductive coupling will be reduced by placing a specific ferromagnetic shield in different configurations.
