Abstract
In this paper, the effectiveness of Hadamard weighted controller to active structural control problem is studied. Two cases are dealt with: 1) integrity in multiple input system; and 2) robustness in MIMO system. Numerical calculations are carried out. For case 1, a structure model with an active dynamic vibration absorber and an active vibration isolator is adopted to investigate the effectiveness to modify integrity, while a structure mode 1 with transverse-torsional coupling structure model is applied for case 2 to clarify the effectiveness to enhance robustness. It is confirmed that the Hadamard weighted controller is effective to modify integrity, while robustness and performance is slightly improved when combined with H∞/μ control
