Abstract
This paper present the results of the research on different kinds of pedagogical models worldwide was made supported by the Information and Communication Technologies and their impact, attempting to design a Virtual Learning Model for Higher Education on Web 2.0 Technologies in Colombia. In order to achieve this target, a theoretical, applied, qualitative and quantitative investigation was conducted based on descriptive and correlational studies. Implementation and validation of the Virtual Learning Model was made with two student groups. Its methodology was focused on learning by doing from a constructivist approach: Reading-writing-building up-publishing on internet databases, collaborative contents and copyrighted by students according to their concepts already learnt, critical thought and their social context, through new pedagogical mediations and teaching communication and interaction strategies among virtual learning communities.
