  • Abstract
    An online defect inspection algorithm was proposed for detecting the most common bamboo strip defects. The algorithm was employed to process images with different kinds of defects. The result indicated that the algorithm could effectively filter out texture and sound knots of bamboo, and six kinds of major defects were found. The algorithm is of the advantage of accurateness, real-time processing and stability.
