Abstract
It has previously been established that the absorption of electromagnetic waves in a turbulent plasma caused by particle collision leads to a decrease of their amplitudes, as well as to a substantial distortion of the angular distribution of the scattered field. It showed itself particularly strongly for wave propagation at large angles with respect to the external magnetic field. The influence of the distance between the located emitter and the boundary of a plane layer of the turbulent plasma, as well as the distance between another boundary of the plasma layer and the receiver on the statistical characteristics of multiply scattered radiation is analysed.
