Abstract
Using immunohistochemical technique to detect the Ezrin expression in 36 cases tissue of HCC acquired from ultrasound-guided needle biopsy, 45 cases tissue of HCC and 12 cases of adjacent tumor tissues acquired from operation in hepatobiliary surgery. The test show that Ezrin positive rates in the ultrasound-guided and the resectional group were significant higher than the adjacent tumor tissues. Ezrin positive rate in both groups were closely related with the tumor size and PVTT. Ezrin positive rate was correlated with histologic grade of HCC in resectional group but not in ultrasound-guided group. Therefore Ezrin play a important role in diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of HCC. Ezrin gene expression in ultrasound-guided HCC biopsy tissues has a similar meaning with it in resection HCC specimen.
