Abstract
Magnetic resonance frequency (omegam) of a split ring resonator (SRR) structures loaded with capacitors at inner ring´s split region is investigated both experimentally and numerically. By constructing a wireless sensor connected ultra-wideband bowtie antenna to a single SRR, the electromagnetic energy in outer gap can be effectively radiated. Its omegam is changed by the loaded capacitance as a sensor and can be measured at the nearby point away from SRR.
