  • Abstract
    The control chart is a sort of Statistical Process Control (SPC) method of the quality control and widely applied in manufacturing. But the traditional control chart needs mass sample data to form the stable control limits, so it can only be applied in mass-manufacturing. The equipment maintenance process is a typical small batch manufacturing process with few sample data. There is not enough quality characteristic data in the process. So the traditional control chart cannot be applied in the equipment maintenance quality control directly. In this paper Bayesian statistic is applied to analyze the historical data to form the prior information and then combine the prior information and sample information to get the control limits of control chart without enough sample data. Finally, the application example shows the applicability of control chart based on Bayesian Statistic in a sort of master clutch maintenance quality control.
