  • Abstract
Electrically excited brushless synchronous motor is a new AC motor, which has a great difference with ordinary AC motor in electromagnetic design. Based on the electromagnetic relation of electrically excited brushless synchronous machine, in this paper the design method is studied and the electromagnetic field of electrically excited brushless synchronous machine is analyzed by finite element analysis software. Start-up performance, pull-in synchronization and dynamic performances when suddenly loaded of the motor are calculated. The results provide the theoretical guidance for the optimal design and control of this motor.
