  • Abstract
    The Hsp70 family of molecular chaperones is necessary for protein folding, refolding misfolded client proteins, openness of abnormal client proteins, and can also inhibit programmed cell death1. A stressed cell is a cancer cell. This stress frequently gives rise to cancer cells to have high levels of Hsp70. In cancer, Hsp70 has been shown to role in an anti-apoptotic capacity.
