Abstract
The grounding net model is of great importance in the study of the conducted interference problem in power supply systems. A PEEC (partial element equivalent circuit) model for analyzing the grounding circuit EMI problem is constructed and the inductance parameters corresponding to three different models are figured out. The inductance parameters calculated are fairly coincident with the experimental results, which shows that both the methods of calculation and measurement adopted in This work are valid and feasible. Partial capacitance can be neglected at low frequency without too much relative error, but it must be taken into account in the equivalent circuit model at high frequency. The paper deals with both situations to demonstrate the successful application of the PEEC approach in analyzing the frequency characteristics of the grounding net discussed.
