Abstract
Summary form only given. Phase conjugation allows for efficient compensation of the distortions in a laser cavity. In this report we present the results of the study of the laser formed by two cavities coupled in a Michelson-type configuration through a phase-conjugate mirror. Such an arrangement allows to overcome some limitations that exist in tracking a remote moving object, in particular, the Doppler frequency shift and low power in the returned signal, large temporal delays, distortions on the trace.
