Abstract

Based on the livestock products traceability system, focused on the distributed condition and the existing problems of the heterogeneous data, we designed and implemented a heterogeneous data integration system based on the mediation by establishing a mediated schema and making use of Object-Oriented Model and the technology of database connection pool. This paper focused on the problems of heterogeneous data integration in the project of livestock products traceability system, presented the main technology which was used in this system.
