Abstract
There has been a considerable amount of reduction in transaction costs and decrease in stock shortage with the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), which is an advanced form of automatic identification and data capture through radio waves. In order to improving the efficiency of retail supply chain (RSC), a RFID-based information system was established. This information system consists of RFID structural (conceptual) models in the process of Packaging Logistics. Those structural models can simulate all the flows of RCS, which made the function of FRID in RCS visible. It was created a platform for different users in the RSC to reduce workload of scanning by workers, simplify the flow of dealing, and avoid checking mistakes.
