Abstract
This paper focus on the fast transient stability simulations of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG). In the simulations, network was presented as algebraic network model with only the fundamental frequency component of voltages and currents being considered in order to reduce the computation time. The simulation approach is mainly used for voltage and angular stability investigations. Models of wind turbine generator systems, which match the fundamental frequency simulation approach, are presented.
