  • Abstract
    In this paper, we propose a method for interface design to support outside work by using an interface for processing image information. In this method, we develop an interface concept which makes it possible to add an information transmission between a person and a person in addition to a conventional information transmission between a person and a machine in an office for a realization of this interface. The proposed method, first inputs a handwritten memo at any place on a computer display at any time, then converts the memo into an image making best use of the ease of data input of the pen interface, and finally stores the image data with the prescribed format information related to the image data. We applied the proposed method to electrical-supply-equipment maintenance work and demonstrated the validity of the method
