  • Abstract
An iterative joint DOA/TOA multipath MIMO channel estimator is proposed in this paper. Unlike several estimation methods which require full knowledge of MIMO propagation channel, others which require that the number of antenna in the mobile terminal be higher than the number of sources to estimate or other requiring high computational complexity, our estimation approach was proposed to solve a great number of multipaths associated with several users in unknown rich scattering multiuser environment adopting smaller mobile terminals with low number of antenna elements. Simulation results show the high resolution of the proposed estimation method in computing the joint DOA and TOA parameters of such desired user working in multiuser multipath MIMO DS-CDMA system.
