Abstract
This paper presents an education-oriented software with graphical user interface developed for power system harmonic studies. Four modules included in the package are load flow analysis, frequency scan harmonic analysis, and single-tuned passive filter planning. The design environment of this program is based on the Simulink of Matlab that provides the drawing function and the graphical user interface development environment, GUIDE. A new set of libraries is created for the convenience of users to draw a power system network diagram in Simulink environment. Input data and computation results can be viewed through Excel file and Simulink drawing. The goal of this developed software is to facilitate user´s learning power system harmonics and harmonic mitigation methods.
