Abstract
In this paper, a high performance control scheme of three-phase ac/dc PWM converter based on inverse system is proposed. First, the nonlinear model of the PWM converter is derived with state variables. Then the system is linearized and the control strategy is obtained based on the inverse system theory. With the proposed control strategy, the performances become well, and the d-q supply current is decoupled, that these characteristic allow the converter to manipulate in a decoupled fashion the active power flow as well as the reactive power flow. The experimental results verified the validity of the proposed control scheme which is thought to be used in supply side converter for VSCF wind power generator.
