Abstract
This paper mainly discusses the accuracy of power hardware-in-the-loop simulation (PHILS) through an example of a boost chopper. A method to evaluate the error of PHILS is presented and verified by both experimental results and offline simulation results of the PHILS of a boost chopper. The factors which affect the accuracy are also discussed and verified by experimental results.
