Abstract
This paper presents the results of the action-research analysis concerning the Enhanced Individualized Learning Environment (EILE) impact on the learning process. EILE combines the e-learning advantages with the VR strengths, contributing to independent learning formation. The results are obtained by comparing the performances of students from five European universities that are using the proposed environment (experimental group) with the performances of students using traditional learning (control group). The paper contains data on academic progress registered, the motivation, attitudes, and the satisfactions of the students which use the new learning environment. Three marks have been analyzed: for theory, for problems/applications and a total one as an average of the first two. The experimental group students obtained higher marks (for theory and total mark) than the control group students.
