Abstract
The authors consider the design of static and fixed order controllers based on a new formulation of a mixed H2/Hinfinity optimal control problem. An explicit parameterization is given of Hinfinity norm bounded uncertainties. Necessary conditions are derived for the minimum of an H2 norm control problem, under a worst-case Hinfinity norm-bounded uncertainty.
