Abstract
Gas insulated switch gears (GIS) type ZX combine progressive and reliable concepts with future-oriented and innovative solutions such as gas tight switchgear technology with protection and insulation gases, vacuum switching technology, epoxy technology, integrated computer controlled switchgear units, as well as sensor-and plug-in-technology. The future oriented sensor technology uses Rogowski-coils for current metering and resistive dividers for voltage metering as well as proximity switches for position indication in combination with digital control and protection unit In the conventional equipped switchgears instrument transformers (current and voltage transformers), conventional measurement and protection units with auxiliary switches are used.
