Abstract
This paper describes the performance achieved by a fuzzy inventory control simulation model in a continuous review inventory system. A single item inventory with non-stationary demand, and fixed operating costs is considered for analysis. A weighted moving average crisp model, which operates under similar inventory environment, is also developed to evaluate the behavior of the fuzzy inventory controller over a given operating-horizon.
