Abstract
We present robust bounds of optimal guaranteed cost control systems with unstructured and structured uncertainties. Parameter dependent robust bounds are derived. An optimization problem of improving the robustness of optimal guaranteed cost control systems with structured uncertainty is proposed. The corresponding optimization technique is also given. The proposed robust condition may be optimized by choosing appropriate weighting and feedback matrices. Our methods not only yield robust bonds on the uncertain parameters for optimal guaranteed cost control systems but also give a design technique for choosing a better matrix to reduce the conservatism
