  • Abstract
    This paper deals with patch antennas for MIMO applications in laptops. Four E-shaped back- to-back patches are integrated along the laptop screen top and side edges. The laptop housing effects on mutual coupling and correlation are investigated numerically using an accurate model where the antenna elements and the laptop structure are taken into account together. Good agreement is observed between numerical simulations and experimental results.
