Abstract
This paper presents the design and analysis of three coupled-line couplers with different grounding techniques, which are common, slotted and floating-potential ground plane. The coupler designs are based on 3 and 6 dB coupling coefficient with center frequency of 6.5 GHz. Their wideband performance are compared and analyzed to observe the effect of grounding techniques. The simulation and analysis are performed using CST Microwave Studio software.
