Abstract
The limitations of the grey fixed weight clustering model (GFWCM), which can be applied to time-point analysis only, not to time-span analysis, have been pointed out in this paper. Then, based on the relative partition for grey subclass, a new model, the dynamic evaluating model for grey clustering (DEMGC) under time sequence, is put forward. The effectiveness and application of the new model were tested by an example from a regional scientific-technical system. The results showed that DEMGC could not only effectively analyze the time-span grey clustering, but also sufficiently employ the information from a time-span with small amount of computation. So the depth and the range of the application of DEMGC are developed.
