Abstract
The results of the further researches of lasers with free nonrelativistic electrons are stated. The simple derivation of the formula for power of radiation of oscillators in periodic non-uniform dielectric is received by using concept of length of formation. It is shown, that the mechanism of radiation is defined by interaction of the charged particles with slow virtual waves. Besides, the quantum theory of radiation of the charged particles in periodic potential is constructed. The power of radiation of such particles is determined. It is shown, that the fast and slow components of wave function are responsible for radiation. The possible realizations of sources for large - millimeter, ultra-violet and x-ray radiation are discussed.
