  • Abstract
    With the technology of communication networks developing and the size of communication networks enlarging constantly, network management is required more and more. In order to adapt to network management, especially to meet the requirements of ATM networks, this paper discusses the model of an intelligent network management that applies expert systems. What is more, it analyzes the characteristics of expert system-intelligent management, and introduces the system structure and the work characteristics of the performance and fault management of the network. The fact proves that the system is fairly effective
