  • Abstract
    In mass customization environment, there are many problems in forecasting customer demand at present, so this paper proposes the method of construction and configuration of product family that orients to forecasting customer demand. Firstly, forecasting customer demand that orients to product family ontology model is constructed; and mapping framework is constructed, which based on ontology mapping method through the mapping from customer demand ontology model to product family ontology model, the conversion of the customer demand to product configuration knowledge and then to product family function are achieved. Finally, this paper takes reducer product family as an example to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.
