Research on the Choice of Patent Strategy in Chinese Enterprises´ Independent Innovation Process

This article studies the choice of patent strategy along with the process of independent innovation in Chinese enterprises. Starting with the introduction of the background of independent innovation, it analyzes its meaning for Chinese enterprises, establishes a four-phase process model for it, and then discusses the particularity of independent innovation process for Chinese enterprises. Meanwhile, with a summary of the concept and content of enterprise patent strategy, this article works on the significance of independent innovation for enterprise patent strategy, and as well proposes choice principles and candidate matrix in this process of independent innovation.
