Abstract
This paper presents experimental data of a grid tie single-phase photovoltaic inverter prototype. The failure in required power generation is an indication to the fact that generating power at the consumer level and feed the rest power to the national grid is necessary today. This idea leads to the use of grid tie inverters. Throughout the paper the inverter structure, whole inverter setup with grid connection and finally the power delivery output of the grid are discussed. Daylong experiment of the inverter and different factors related with the inverter are analyzed thoroughly. Inverter efficiency during the testing period maintained a consistency. This inverter can deliver maximum power to the grid at mid noon. Power factor was also at a satisfactory level. All these factors matters for successful power delivery to the grid. Therefore, by experimenting with our locally developed grid tie inverter, all this factors were evaluated properly.
