Abstract
Energy is the most basal material demand for exist and development of human being. Due to poverty in economy, eco-environment and shortage of rural household energy and excessive consumption of biofuel becomes the important factor driving eco-environment degeneration in Loess Hilly Region of Gansu province. Data about household energy using was obtained by questionnaires in this research, environmental and economic benefits of rural household biogas Construction project were estimated by the quantitative model. Results show that biogas digesters can effectively improve the rural energy consumption structure, improve the quality of family life, cut down the total cost of energy usage. The ecological and economic benefit created by one biogas digester is 650.12 Yuan.
