Abstract
Summary form only given. Heavy ion beam probe diagnostic (HIBP) systems are presently in operation on the Madison Symmetric Torus (MST) at the University of Wisconsin and on a helicon plasma experiment at Rensselaer. Measurements of the radial equilibrium potential profiles /spl phi/(r) have been successfully obtained with a Heavy Ion Beam Probe (HIBP) in the core (0.25\n\n\t\t
