  • Abstract
This paper provides a time synchronization method which is suitable for TD-SCDMA home base stations, based on existing solutions to solve the problem of home base station´s time synchronization problem. It presents two operating modes to TD-SCDMA home base station, namely UE operating mode and home base station operating mode. Before entering home base station operating mode, it achieves the TD-SCDMA home base station´s time synchronization by the open-loop synchronization of TD-SCDMA macro-stations or other TD-SCDMA home base stations, with monitoring the surrounding TD-SCDMA macro base stations or other TD-SCDMA home base station´s downlink synchronization channel at UE operating mode. Finally it analyzes the key technologies, and gives the corresponding solutions.
