  • Abstract
According to fault-tolerant control theory, the desired indices of fault-tolerant controller are characterized by real-number interval or space region. However, using space region to characterize the desired indices is also the basic thought of satisfactory control theory. Here, the consistency of technical indices between satisfactory control theory and fault tolerant technology was analyzed in detail, and the concept of "satisfactory fault-tolerant control" was brought forwarded for the first time. Prove by practice, fault-tolerant technology based on satisfactory control theory not only make the technical indices of fault-tolerant control more flexible but also make it easier to achieve fault-tolerant controller because of satisfactory control theory\´s uniform linear matrix inequality (LMI) expressive form.
