  • Abstract
    We show experimental results about the wire ageing induced by pollutants in Ar/CO2 gas irradiated by X-rays. The tests are important for the barrel muon chambers of the CMS experiment at the LHC, because they should operate for 10 years in a radiation field (muons, neutrons, gamma´s)
