Abstract
As the rate of sexual crimes soars, new law mandates the sex offenders to wear an electronic anklet identifying their location. Here a middleware is needed to monitor and manage wide area of a number of entities. The existing middleware is somewhat inefficient in covering such vast area of specific application. This paper proposes a context-awareness middleware structure which monitors the distance between the criminal and children to identify any emergence situation. A prototype is implemented and tested for verifying the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
