Abstract
In a stereoscopic display system, images produced with poorly designed algorithms can result in vertical parallax and spatial distortions. We derive equations for generation of the left and right-eye perspective views and identify the minimum number and most fundamental conceptual set of parameters needed to create 3-D stereoscopic images. We also integrated computer visual tracking with walking through a real time 3-D virtual environment on a PC.
