  • Abstract
Smart house communication system as a part of smart grid is a kind of wireless sensor network (WSN). It always uses Zigbee or WiFi as communication method to transmit the information from the power meter to the gateway. While with the developing of the visible light communication image sensor communication is proposed. Image sensor communication has many advantages compare with traditional radio frequency communication, for example power consumption, security, frequency interference and system cost. Introduce image sensor communication into the smart house can make the house much “green”. Both the smart grid and image sensor communication techniques are new, the whole structure to use ISC into smart grid is introduced in this paper. The performance of the ISC using in smart house and the advantages compare with the other communication methods are analyzed. Furthermore a new duplex communication structure is proposed in the paper. Results come from the discussion can give valuable basic theory for the future used.
