  • Abstract
    A novel PC implementation of a point-wise fan-beam inversion scheme is presented. Although it is based on a low-cost philosophy it favorably compares with the similar workstation implementation. A set of numerical examples are presented and discussed showing the accuracy of such a novel inversion scheme both in terms of wind speed and in terms of wind direction reconstruction
