  • Abstract
Accurate geometric calibration of a spaceborne sensor critical to allowing the imaging system to produce high quality image products. This paper describes the post-launch calibration techniques developed and used to characterize the payloads on the five RapidEye satellites. It illustrates how ground-based post-launch calibration techniques can b used to mount a successful geometric calibration campaign consistent with a small-sat satellite mission.
