Abstract
In order to suppress the electromagnetic (EM) noise emission on signal transmission line, we have been fabricating the RF integrated noise suppressor using loss generation of ferromagnetic metallic and ferrite thin films. The RF noise suppression in the electronic devices and transmission line applications, it is required that the signal attenuation in pass-band frequency region should be minimized for the enhancement of the signal integrity without signal distortion. In order to reduce eddy current loss and utilize the great demagnetizing effect of the magnetic materials in RF noise suppression, we have estimated the RF EM noise suppression on coplanar transmission line using carbon coated permalloy nonorods array in anodic aluminum oxide in comparison with that of nonmagnetic films and NiZn-ferrite film with high resistivity.
