Abstract
High frequency magnetomechanical performance offered by 2-2 composites with internal magnetic biasing was reported. The multilayer structure was made up of layers of Terfenol-D and Nd2Fe14B which were bonded by cyanoacrylate adhesive. The saturation magnetostriction, magnetization, permanent internal magnetic field and permeability were measured. The coupling coefficient was also measured using the three parameter technique.
