  • Abstract
The primary fuel of the lean-burnt oil boiler is residuum oil. Fuel burning is influenced by factors such as quality, pressure, temperature of the oil and fluctuation of load. As a result the burning system of the lean-burnt oil boiler is a complex controlled object with the characteristics of large detention and strong disturbance. An accurate mathematical model is difficult to construct. In this paper, the fuzzy control strategy for the oil lean burnt system is presented, and the “fuzzy+PI” double model control method and the fuzzy self-optimizing algorithm of boiler temperature are adopted. Neither a precise mathematical model of the controlled object, nor a complex instrument is required. The parameter is modified, improved and adjusted in the control process, making the furnace to burn steadily. Practical operation indicated that this control strategy is robust. The stability and efficiency of the boiler burning system are also improved
