  • Abstract
An algorithm of data fusion based on fuzzy theory is proposed for temperature trend judgement of an industrial rotary kiln, which is key to the control system for this complex industrial process. The temperature measurement is based on the flame image processing which is easily disturbed by the dust and smog in the sintering strand. The algorithm proposed in the paper can overcome this disadvantage effectively. On the other hand, the fuzzy rules can be obtained directly by the data in the industry locale. Application shows that the control system using this method as feedback signal can achieve high robustness and good utility
