Abstract
Samples of ferrimagnetic/ferrimagnetic Mn3O4/Fe3O4 superlattices of different thickness were studied. X-ray absorption (XAS) and X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements at transition metal L2,3-edges were performed to understand the interplay between the electronic configuration, the atomic structure and the magnetic property at the interface. Bulk MnFe2O4 was also studied for comparison. The magnetic anisotropy, Curie temperature and the magnetic moment of the superlattice were discussed.
